Who is Carla Jennings?
I’m the mother of five children (birthed four) have two grandchildren, been married for 34 years, and help pastor (for 32 years) along side my husband Al. I’m 55 years old, and loving this stage of my life. 

I’ve been in the fitness industry for over ten years, during which time I taught two exciting classes (F.I.T. and Stretch & Flex) at one of the YMCA’s in Forth Wayne, IN., where I received my certification in Group Fitness and Strength & Conditioning. 

In 2011, I stepped away from the YMCA to pursue my business, FIT4U! LLC, which was launched in January 2012. I am a Certified Personal Trainer with American Sport & Fitness Association (ASFA). I speak at women events, youth functions, and health and fitness expos.

In 2016, I completed my 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certification. I studied under Jennifer Wright, Certified Baptiste Teacher and Owner of Urban Body Yoga (Fort Wayne, IN). My training was inspired by Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga. 

After having four C-sections and being determined to get back in shape, I knew not working out wasn’t an option. As I pursued my fitness goals, my passion to help and encourage others grew stronger and stronger. I found myself thinking of workouts and ways others could reach their weight goals, or how they could be inspired to workout. That’s how my first DVD, FIT4U!, came about.

I know there were tons of great workout programs and weight loss offers on the market, but America is still the fattest country in the world. This says to me there is room for more GREAT programs! Some people still are not being reached; some are not hearing the message. The message being: U CAN GET THERE. You can get fit!  Just stop comparing yourself to others. Just be you! Do you! Get FIT4U!

I take Carla Jennings' Barre and Bands class at Urban Body Yoga. I like Carla's Barre and Bands class because it's a demanding but fun workout. She keeps things interesting by adding new moves and by working all parts of the body. I recommend Carla, and in fact, I have already brought friends to her class. She is a motivator and is in great shape herself - which is a testament to her knowledge and experience. If I ever hired a personal trainer, Carla would be first on my list.
